As we progress into the formation of the GA colony and beyond, students will increasingly be using historical documents as a tool to learn about Georgia history. Today, students practiced the skills of document analysis using resources pertaining to SS8H1 (Unit 2).
Using a variety of sources (paintings, biography excerpt), students answered questions and made inferences about what was happening within them. This assignment will be finished on Tuesday along with the start of Unit 3 notes. * Documents are class copies and not brought home but will be attached on this website. Have a great long weekend! Students took notes on identifying primary and secondary sources for historical analysis. A scenario involving a lunchroom food fight was given to students in order to evaluate the validity of multiple sources.
